Kimberly DeCarrera
Springboard Legal’s Kimberly DeCarrera is a Fractional General Counsel and Fractional Chief Financial Officer for small to medium sized fast-growth companies. She works with a variety of companies in the professional services, supply chain and logistics, software and SaaS, and online content creators. Her superpower is helping guide companies through the hyper-growth stage, managing risk and implementing long-term strategies for sustainable success.
Kimberly is a sought after expert in unclaimed property, where companies of all sizes seek her leadership in multi-state audits and voluntary disclosures. She advises companies on establishing and maintaining gift card, loyalty, and referral programs to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and customer loyalty.
Kimberly previously served as the Chief Financial and Legal Officer (CFO/CLO) of an Inc 5000 logistics company during the pandemic, where she tripled revenue and headcount. She has also recently worked with a law firm marketing company to launch their Fractional CFO program. Kimberly resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her rescue dog. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from Georgia Tech and a law degree and Masters in Tax from Georgia State University.
Karen Brieger
Karen Brieger is the Founder of Pinnacle Connections HR, LLC, where she provides small and medium-sized companies with Fractional, Consulting and Advisory HR expertise. With over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, Karen’s proficiency spans from policy & procedure creation to HR strategy development and everything in between. Her HR superpowers lie in enhancing employee experience to drive better business results, implementing impactful talent acquisition strategies to ensure team success, and managing people-centric integrations during mergers and acquisitions.
Karen has successfully led the people integrations of over 10 acquisitions, focusing on a ‘day 1’ readiness to maximize value creation while minimizing team disruption. Additionally, she spearheaded a global initiative to boost customer focus for a software company, significantly improving organizational awareness and contribution towards customer delight and revenue goals.
Karen’s industry experience is as diverse as her HR capabilities, having led HR teams in public, private and private equity sectors. Originally from Pennsylvania, Karen now resides in New Hampshire with her family and two rescue dogs. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Widener University.
